FAX (Rubén Alonso Tamayo) is one of Mexico’s most enduring electronic musicians from the last 20 years, with a music catalog that stretches from minimal techno to ambient soundscapes. He is one of the co-founders of Static Discos, Mexico’s premiere electronic music label. In 2020 he launched his own label Facade Electronics. The work of FAX is distinguished by its rich sound design and detailed musicianship. His music has been released all around the globe on labels such as Traum, Level (DE), SEM (FR), Static Discos (MX) among many others. As an art director has designed music sleeves for The Leaf Label (UK) and Khoi Khoi (FR).
