James N Murray is an artist and music producer living in Chicago. His work explores the languages, histories, narratives, archetypes and spaces of past, present and future queer communities through materials that include music, video, new media, ceramics, drawing and performance. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in both the Kinsey Institute collection and the Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collection. He has released music with Jacktone Records, Argot and Further Records.
